The Name Game- I don't want to play

Blame it on the last trimester hormones and what-not, but I’m becoming increasingly annoyed. Go figure! The latest culprit: opinions on baby names. And not just anyone’s baby’s name, but my precious, sweet, not-completely-done baby. It’s irritating and frustrating. It’s also something that I realize now maybe we should’ve kept to ourselves. Opinions are great, but maybe a tactful opinion would be better. Definitely tell the mama-to-be if you think the name might be offensive or rhymes with an anatomy part, but please leave out the ‘Oh, I don’t know how I feel about that name.’ The baby is mine; not yours. You don’t have to feel anything about the name! I think it’s momumental enough the Guy and I could agree on a name or two. I don’t want to feel like I have to second guess our choices because other people aren’t sure how they feel. Guess it goes back to not being able to please everyone.

Ok, rant over…

Tater Tot, by the way, is growing beautifully…healthy and big and long, and we couldn’t ask for anything more. Except maybe for my weight gain to slow down so the doctor doesn’t yell at me ;)

And you see, everyone thought I was crazy when I wouldn't tell Ian's name ;)

Everyone has an opinion. Whatever the name you choose, that baby is going to be beautiful and perfect!

Yeah the name game is no fun at all! I feel your irritation on that one! Just name YOUR baby what YOU want to!
