The honeymoon is over. Actually, it’s been over for a couple months now. Crazy butterflies when I see his number calling…heart beating faster while driving to his place…his smile would make me flush. Oh, well, it was nice while it lasted.
Now I don’t want to sound like we have some horrible, disrespectful relationship. Not by any means. But 7 months (almost 8) later, and the ‘real’ everyday stuff has crept up into our lives, forcing good ol’ honeymoon to take a hike. I still get a little weak in the knees from a kiss, but honestly, those kisses are sometimes few and far between. I’m rushing home from work, making dinner, giving princess a bath, and wait…have I not kissed him yet today? Or at least had a hug?
I know it will just take the two of us to bring it back a little. To get the groove back. Maybe honeymoon just went south for the winter.

Ah yea...the honeymoon. Those were the days. Damn real life and kids...and all the other crap in between.
The good thing...it's what comes after the honeymoon that actually matters. Love you guys!
