And with it, the resolution. Sometimes dreaded, sometimes pretty much impossible. While I’d love to just go with resolutions of past years- eat healthier, lose some weight, spend less time stressing- I’ve chosen something that hopefully I won’t be able to quit after a couple weeks. Not that I don’t want to eat healthier or lose a little weight, but I seem to jump on and off that bandwagon quite often.
This year I’m going to try to volunteer somewhere at least once a month. Whether it be for the princess’ school or a local humane society, I’m going to do something. I’m always feeling like I could do a little more. Not necessarily in the form of a monetary donation because well, that’s just not happening at the moment, but I know I could donate a little time.
I’m hoping to get the princess involved as well, but most of the posts I’ve seen the children need to be at least 8 years old, so we’ll see.
Here's hoping for a healthy, happy new year :)

I volunteer in the ER at a local hospital and it is the best thing I've ever done. It fills my soul. NO matter how tired I am before I go and I am tired, trust me, I always get it together and do it and am ALWAYS glad I did.
