I had my 24-week appointment today and had another ultrasound due to the worries in the beginning of the pregnancy. But...everything looks great! Baby has long legs, big belly and measuring just great! Also, Doc got an interesting shot of Tater Tot.
(Now I realize the quality is crappy. I'm still doing the classy taking a picture of a picture with my cell phone. sigh)

This shot was an up the nostrils look. Those are the baby's arms up, hands covering eyes, mouth a little open. Does the baby not look like it has a little snout?!? The doctor reassured my (laughing) mother and I that the baby did not indeed have a snout, but it was just the angle. I might wanna file this one away...
On the weight gaining issue, I just need to get over it. I gained wayyyy more weight this past 4 weeks than I have any of the others, and well, there's not much to do. I know I haven't been eating (too much) crap, but my body is just doing what it's doing. Difficult not to dwell on it and compare to my first pregnancy, but there are so many different circumstances that I'm not really being fair to myself. On the funnier side of it all, the nurse did little to reassure me at first about the weight gain. She asked me to step on the scale, step off, went to record my current weight, did a double take and asked me to step on the scale again. Haha! I said oh, no you got it correct the first time! Then, she tried to make up for it by telling me this happens, and I could even out or possibly lose weight next time blah blah blah. Yeah, right... To put it out there I gained about 8 pounds in 4 weeks taking my grand total to...well, I'm not ready to share that yet, but I think eventually I will.
All that matters is a healthy Tater Tot!

AWWW I love the picture! It's very cute! Just think of all the opportunities you will have to show that picture off and embarrass your little tatter tot!
Take your own advice and stop stressing about your weight. You'll gain weight, so what? As long as your doctors aren't concerned, you're good to go, love!
