Oh, boy! Or girl!

I've been a bundle of nerves for weeks now. Do I post about it? Do I tell this person, but wait telling this one? What about the princess...when should she know? I didn't want to jinx it...



I'M PREGNANT!!



Whoooo...it feels great to get that off my chest! :)



I knew right away. Well, at least a few days before I should have had my monthly visitor. Took a test on a Friday night and it was negative. Not convinced, I waited until Monday morning (with the good stuff) and the positive result showed instantly. I was floored. Not entirely surprised, but still shocked. A test or two later, and I told the guy. Oh my gosh. I don't know if I've ever heard someone so happy in their life haha. He was and is over the moon happy, which makes me relax a little and be even more happy. While I was worried about saying anything, he had proceeded to tell his family, friends, and anyone else who would listen.



And now at 9 weeks, 3 days I'm still a little in disbelief. And excited.. and scared. and feeling awful. After 3 weeks of being sick morning, noon and night, I'm definitely looking forward to hopefully feeling better in a few weeks. I don't mind the sickness too much...just means the baby is growing.



Speaking of growing, so is my stomach. I don't know if it's because this is my second or since I'm living off crackers and pretzels and any other carb I can get my hands on, but I'm pretty bloated. Probably have to break down and buy some belly bands or bigger pants already, and the sad part is I didn't have to switch sizes with the princess until 16-20 weeks in haha.



Below is the first ultrasound pic at 8 weeks. And yes, it's a picture of a picture because we're classy like that and don't have a scanner. And yes, it's a blurry mess, but I think you can still see the little guy. (or girl.) We got to hear the heartbeat, and I completely forgot how amazing that sound is! Completely overwhelming and wonderful.
