Thankful Thursday

Today I’m going to be thankful for a few somewhat silly, not significantly important things.

#1- I’m thankful I am not required to see ‘High School Musical 3’ this Saturday. The princess will be attending her first birthday party without me (*gasp*) and the plan is to see the movie and then back to the girl’s house for cake. I was keeping my fingers crossed the mother would just take the girls herself, since it is only 3 or 4 of them, and yay! I don’t have to go. Hopefully I can get some Christmas shopping done. Now I get to just have my irrational fear about someone else driving her, and worry if she's being a heathen or not...

#2- I’m thankful tomorrow is pay day!! Yikes. Now that I’m a big girl (aka I moved out of my mama’s house), the bills are cutting it a little close. Mind you, I did pay my mother rent, just not as much as I do now, of course. And if Sperm Donor would pay his measly, teeny tiny amount of child support (that I never asked for, but now I get so I expect it..yeah, yeah, I realize that sounds dumb) on time I’d be doing a little better, but that’s a whole ‘nother story.

#3- I’m (trying) to be thankful for the job that’s paying me tomorrow, but it’s difficult. (See previous blog) If the place was run a little better and smoother, I really wouldn’t have many issues. Like the co-workers, very laid-back rules. I just like to feel like I’m succeeding, and I’m a darn hard worker, so when my job is made more difficult with confusion and no one to explain the chaos, I get irritated. I’m flexible, gosh darnit, just tell me what to do! Ugh…I’ve turned this into a rant again.
