Weekly Random (or not-so-random) Acts of Kindness

Recently I stumbled on a link to Robyn's blog, Mix Mingle Glow. The link showcased her 38th birthday, and her plan to celebrate her birthday by completing 38 random acts of kindness. This took place in February, but like I mentioned, I just found it, and it is so inspiring!

So inspiring and moving to me that I teared up reading the post. It has also moved me to perform at least one random (or not-so-random) act of kindness per week. How simple is it to hand write a letter to a friend or buy a coffee for the person behind you in line? There are a gazillion different things that could be done, and I'm excited to try to do just once a week. This morning I paid for the coffee and doughnut of the older gentleman behind me in line, and last week I gave a coupon for a free item to a co-worker because I knew he'd appreciate it. So simple, and very rewarding.

I'm not going to say the car accident was some all life changing event, but it did make me even a little more appreciative of what I have. The car accident was not tragic, but it happened so fast, it's difficult not to think of the other things that could happen. No time like the present....

Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Naturally I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
